AWS Cloud Engineer (Remote - Morocco)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced AWS Cloud Engineer to join a leading software engineering consultancy. The role is fully remote within Morocco and focuses on building, automating, and operating secure, resilient, and highly available cloud infrastructure for production applications.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement, and optimise AWS infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Terragrunt, Ansible).
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins) to support automated software delivery.
• Manage containerised workloads with Kubernetes, Docker, and Helm.
• Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions (Grafana, Kibana, Datadog, CloudWatch).
• Troubleshoot production issues, perform root‑cause analysis, and drive long‑term improvements.
• Collaborate with software engineers to embed DevOps best practices throughout the development lifecycle.
• Optimise cloud resources for performance, security, cost efficiency, and reliability.
• Leverage AI‑assisted coding tools to accelerate infrastructure development and operational troubleshooting.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Cloud, DevOps, or Infrastructure Engineer.
• Strong hands‑on expertise with AWS services, networking, and account management.
• Solid experience with Terraform, Terragrunt, Ansible, or comparable IaC tools.
• Experience managing Kubernetes, Docker, and Helm environments.
• Ability to build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using modern platforms.
• Familiarity with observability tools such as Grafana, Kibana, Datadog, or CloudWatch.
• Proficient scripting skills in Bash, Python, JavaScript or TypeScript.
• Fluent English communication and ability to work independently in a remote‑first setting.
