BOM Leader

About the role

Alstom is seeking a BOM Leader to manage master data and Bill of Materials throughout project lifecycles, ensuring data accuracy and consistency across systems such as SAP.

Key responsibilities

• Set up and maintain master data (M‑BoM, P‑BoM, routings, work centers, tooling, purchasing files) in project systems.
• Ensure data consistency between all engineering and ERP platforms.
• Prepare and consolidate PBOM documents for SAP upload and manage change impacts.
• Collect, update and verify part scope information across project and product teams.
• Execute database actions for part code availability, effectivity setup, audits and data reliability tests.
• Deploy tools and processes following APSYS recommendations and ensure data usability and sustainability.
• Lead and manage a team of BOM Engineers.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in a technical field (Industrial, Mechanical or equivalent).
• Fluent in English (read, write, speak).
• 3‑5 years of manufacturing or manufacturing‑engineering experience, preferably in the railway sector.
• Experience in process engineering, work‑instruction writing, line balancing and lean manufacturing.
• Project‑management experience and familiarity with ERP systems (SAP) for BOM, routings and change configuration.
• Knowledge of quality, EHS standards, ergonomics, CAD and process FMEA/QRQC.
