Business Development Manager – Morocco

About the role

Mamoru is expanding its financial services platform across Africa and is looking for a Business Development Manager to lead the launch and growth of its operations in Morocco. You will act as the local representative, establishing the entity, building key partnerships, and developing the FX trading business for high‑net‑worth, institutional and individual clients.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in setting up the Moroccan legal entity, opening bank, FX broker, exchange and payment processor accounts.
• Collaborate with the global operations team to ensure smooth local operations.
• Establish and nurture relationships with banks, brokers, exchanges, merchants and payment processors.
• Develop and drive the FX trading business targeting HNW investors, institutional investors, merchants and individual traders.
• Stay informed on market trends, risks and new opportunities in the FX payments sector.
• Serve as nominee director of the local entity and manage administrative tasks.

Required profile

• Prior experience in banking or FX with solid understanding of trading products and trade life‑cycle.
• National of Morocco.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and relationship‑management skills.
• Flexible mindset, meticulous, able to multitask and manage projects independently.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.
