Capture Manager

About the role

As a Capture Manager at Harmattan AI you will own the pursuit strategy and execution for regional defense opportunities, guiding the process from customer shaping to bid‑ready state. You will work closely with regional relationship owners and headquarters to ensure compliance, competitive positioning, and successful hand‑off to the proposal function.

Key responsibilities

• Own capture plans, gate and milestone reviews, and win‑theme development across the regional pursuit set.
• Shape customer requirements and engagement ahead of formal procurement.
• Develop win strategy, competitive positioning and price‑to‑win models in coordination with HQ.
• Manage teaming strategy and local industrial partner relationships within compliance and export‑control rules.
• Maintain and grow customer relationships established by previous wins.

Required profile

• 8–12+ years of defense business development or capture experience with a proven track record of successful pursuits.
• Extensive network within the regional defense ecosystem and deep knowledge of local procurement dynamics.
• Proficiency in capture methodology, win‑theme development, gate reviews, competitive positioning and price‑to‑win modelling.
• Strict adherence to anti‑corruption and export‑control compliance.
• Familiarity with counter‑UAS, UAS, ISR or C2 systems is a strong plus.
• Relevant military or government background is an asset.
• Fluent in French and Arabic; working proficiency in English required.
