Construction Superintendent

About the role

Chenega MIOS is seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to lead customer‑funded construction activities on an OCONUS project in Morocco. You will supervise multinational trades and subcontractors, ensuring safety, quality, and compliance with design and contract requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate construction trades and subcontractors for repair, alteration, and renovation projects.
• Maintain 100% accountability for assigned staff, develop SOPs, and enforce policies.
• Determine personnel and subcontractor needs, establish quality‑control standards, and promote safety awareness.
• Conduct regular unannounced quality and safety inspections.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports and monitor costs to stay within budget.
• Ensure construction aligns with approved designs and deliverables are submitted on time.
• Attend weekly program‑management and monthly operations meetings.
• Coordinate travel logistics and develop a Logistics Management Plan.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED (Bachelor’s degree in a construction‑related field preferred).
• 10+ years experience as a Construction Superintendent or Manager on U.S. Federal projects.
• 5+ years experience in civil works; airfield and runway experience preferred.
• Ability to pass background and drug screening.
