Construction Superintendent

About the role

The Construction Superintendent will direct, supervise, and manage all customer‑funded construction activities for an OCONUS project in Morocco, ensuring safety, compliance, and schedule adherence.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise multinational construction trades and subcontractors to plan, schedule, and coordinate repair, alteration, and renovation projects.
• Maintain 100% accountability for assigned staff, managing development and evaluation of team members.
• Establish and implement standard operating procedures, policies, and quality‑control standards.
• Promote safety and security awareness, conducting unannounced quality and safety inspections.
• Provide daily, weekly, and monthly reports, ensuring projects stay within budget and on schedule.
• Coordinate travel arrangements for OCONUS personnel and develop logistics management plans.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• 10+ years experience as a Construction Superintendent or Manager on US Federal projects.
• 5+ years experience in civil works; airfields and runways preferred.
• Ability to pass background and drug screening.
• Valid motor vehicle operator's license.

Required skills

• Reading and interpreting blueprints.
• Experience with as‑built drawing packages.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Project.
• Familiarity with computer‑based facilities management software.
