Controller

About the role

The Controller will support the finance function of an industrial production environment, ensuring accurate budgeting, forecasting, and cost analysis. You will work closely with operational teams to provide reliable financial data and drive continuous improvement of controlling processes.

Key responsibilities

• Contribute to the budgeting process and periodic forecasts in collaboration with operational teams.
• Produce and analyse key performance indicators such as productivity, consumption, and scrap rates.
• Analyse production costs and variances (actual vs. standard) and explain key drivers.
• Monitor production orders and support continuous improvement of industrial standards.
• Manage plant CAPEX analysis, tracking, and approval processes.
• Prepare accurate monthly reports in line with group requirements.
• Execute monthly closings and ensure the quality of analytical data.
• Proactively contribute to the improvement of controlling processes and best practices.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Finance, Controlling or a related field.
• 0–2 years of experience, preferably in a structured industrial environment (automotive experience is a plus).
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to structure and ensure reliability of financial data.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to interact with and challenge various stakeholders.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Good knowledge of ERP systems, preferably SAP.
• Solid understanding of industrial controlling concepts such as standard costing and variance analysis.
