Cost Estimating Engineer

About the role

The Cost Estimating Engineer will support both new and ongoing programs by preparing accurate cost calculations and quotations. Working within a global manufacturing environment, you will collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure cost data aligns with product designs and business objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare cost calculations and develop quotations based on customer documentation and available data.
• Collaborate with engineering, production, and other departments to provide preliminary technical and cost input.
• Analyze and update cost structures when production processes, materials, or designs change.
• Develop profitability analyses and business cases for planned initiatives.
• Review and validate technical documentation and commercial offers for internal and external stakeholders.
• Monitor cost performance to ensure accuracy, consistency, and high standards in estimation processes.

Required profile

• University degree in Finance, Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably within finance, engineering, or sales.
• Advanced proficiency in MS Excel (pivot tables, charts, advanced formulas).
• Strong analytical, logical thinking and attention‑to‑detail.
• Excellent English communication skills for an international setting.
• Valid Category B driving license.
