Crash Simulation Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Crash Simulation Engineer to develop and refine simulation models for power‑train and vehicle systems. The role involves performing high‑fidelity crash simulations, analysing results, and supporting our automotive customers in evaluating safety performance.

Key responsibilities

• Create and refine detailed crash simulation models for ICE, exhaust, traction batteries, transmission, fuel‑cell and e‑motor systems.
• Run crash simulations to assess power‑train and vehicle performance.
• Analyse simulation outcomes, process test data and correlate results with physical testing.
• Prepare and present technical documentation and reports for customers.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of simulation methodologies and develop best‑practice guidelines.

Required profile

• Engineering degree in Mechanical, Mechatronic Engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience in automotive crash simulation and development.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities, with the capacity to work independently.
• Fluent English for daily interaction with international customers.

Required skills

• Proficiency with LS‑DYNA, Radioss, ANSA, HyperMesh, HyperView and Meta simulation tools.
