Cultural Content Reviewer

About the role

Alignerr is seeking Cultural Content Reviewers to help train AI systems to be culturally intelligent. You will work remotely, reviewing AI‑generated text, images, and recommendations to ensure they reflect authentic cultural nuances.

Key responsibilities

• Review AI‑generated content for cultural accuracy, sensitivity, and relevance.
• Flag material that is culturally inappropriate, outdated, stereotypical, or potentially offensive.
• Provide regional context and suggest culturally authentic alternatives.
• Evaluate translations and localizations for naturalness to local audiences.
• Deliver structured, clear feedback to improve AI models.
• Work independently and asynchronously according to your schedule.

Required profile

• Deep, firsthand familiarity with the customs, norms, humor, taboos, and values of your culture or region.
• Ability to spot cultural missteps that outsiders might miss.
• Strong written communication skills to explain why something feels off.
• Thoughtful, open‑minded, and consistent in evaluations.
• No formal academic background in cultural studies required.
