Customer Service Representative

About the role

Join AFFIN as a Customer Service Representative and be the first point of contact for our clients. You will deliver high‑quality service in line with the bank’s policies while supporting branch operations and contributing to deposit growth.

Key responsibilities

• Provide frontline service to customers, handling enquiries and complaints promptly.
• Perform back‑office functions such as cash handling, daily voucher bundling, and end‑of‑day balancing.
• Support deposit and cross‑selling initiatives for Deposit, Investment, Bancassurance, and Banca Takaful products.
• Take proactive actions to prevent fraud and losses, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements (FSA, iFSA, PDPA, AMLA, FATCA, CRS, etc.).
• Maintain accurate records, file reports, and meet audit standards.
• Manage branch resources including annual leave, attendance, and staff meetings.
• Participate in staff development, CSR activities, and special branch events.
• Undertake ad‑hoc assignments and relief duties as needed.

Required profile

• Strong commitment to delivering quality customer service in accordance with bank policies.
• Attention to detail for cash handling, voucher processing, and regulatory compliance.
• Ability to build and maintain good rapport with internal and external customers.
• Willingness to engage in staff training, coaching, and community initiatives.
