Customer Solution Engineer – Experienced

About the role

KONE is looking for an experienced Customer Solution Engineer to join its early‑engagement team in Casablanca. You will act as the technical bridge between sales and engineering, turning customer requirements into viable, cost‑effective elevator solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with Sales to design optimal technical solutions that meet client needs.
• Translate customer requirements into clear specifications, cost estimates, lead‑time plans and installation guidelines.
• Coordinate across KONE business lines – elevators, escalators, doors and services – as well as with Supply Line, Installation, Maintenance and Project Management teams.
• Conduct traffic analyses, energy calculations and technical feasibility studies.
• Prepare technical tender documents, compliance lists, layouts and ensure adherence to local codes, safety and environmental standards.
• Assess technical risks for non‑standard projects and propose appropriate mitigation measures.
• Support complex projects through engineering hand‑over and provide technical training to internal teams.

Required profile

• 5–7 years of experience in the elevator or related vertical‑transport industry.
• Strong technical understanding of elevator solutions, products and services.
• Proven ability to develop complete solutions covering specifications, costing, lead times and installation requirements.
• Experience working with cross‑functional teams and third‑party suppliers.
