Data Analyst Intern – Data Insights

About the role

Save the Children International is seeking a Data Analyst Intern to join its Data Insights team within the AI, Data and Digital function. The intern will support the global indicator framework and help resolve data quality issues in PRIME, the organisation’s project management system, contributing to evidence‑based decision‑making for children worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Data Insights team in maintaining and updating the global indicator framework and Indicator Library.
• Identify, investigate and help resolve data inconsistencies and quality issues in PRIME.
• Support the preparation of data extracts and visualisations for country offices and senior leadership.
• Collaborate with transformation and IT colleagues to ensure data tools are aligned with programme objectives.
• Document data processes and contribute to continuous improvement of data management practices.

Required profile

• Current university student or recent graduate in a quantitative discipline (e.g., statistics, economics, data science, computer science).
• Strong analytical mindset with interest in humanitarian development.
• Ability to work independently and within a global, multicultural team.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
