Data Engineer GCP (F/H)

About the role

As part of CGI's Data Services Center, you will design, develop, and maintain data collection pipelines on Google Cloud Platform. You will work in an Agile/DevOps environment to ensure high‑quality, reliable data flows for critical business processes.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and evolve batch and streaming data pipelines.
• Design ingestion, transformation, and exposure workflows on GCP.
• Write Python and SQL processing jobs to feed data platforms.
• Implement and maintain solutions using BigQuery, Dataflow, Composer (Airflow), Pub/Sub, Cloud Run, and Cloud Storage.
• Perform impact analysis, testing, production rollout, and support for existing collections.
• Ensure data quality, performance, reliability, and traceability.
• Collaborate with teams using GitLab CI/CD.

Required profile

• 2 to 6 years of experience in data engineering.
• Strong experience with GCP services, especially BigQuery.
• Good communication skills in French.
• Ability to handle high‑volume, high‑criticality data collection projects.
