Data Engineer

About the role

SII Group Morocco is looking for a Data Engineer to design, build, and optimise scalable data pipelines and platforms that support analytics, reporting and machine‑learning workloads. You will work in a flexible, remote‑friendly environment across our offices in Casablanca, Oujda and Rabat, collaborating with cross‑functional teams to deliver high‑quality data solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines from diverse data sources.
• Model and optimise relational and big‑data storage systems.
• Build APIs and data services for internal consumers.
• Deploy and manage cloud‑based data platforms on AWS, Azure or GCP.

Required profile

• Strong analytical thinking and clear communication.
• Ability to work autonomously and solve complex problems.
• Experience collaborating across multiple teams.

Required skills

• SQL and relational databases.
• Python programming.
• Big‑data technologies such as Spark and Hadoop.
• Cloud services (AWS S3, Azure, GCP BigQuery, Redshift, etc.).
• API development and micro‑services.
• High‑performance computing frameworks.
