Data Security Analyst

About the role

As a Data Security Analyst at Cnexia tech, you will protect sensitive information across our telecom infrastructure. You will lead data discovery scans, ensure PCI DSS compliance, and support secure application onboarding for our clients.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate physical site inspections and manage hardware lifecycles.
• Operate and monitor enterprise data discovery scans using DataStealth.
• Identify, classify, and protect PII, PCI, and PHI data.
• Troubleshoot scan failures and resolve security‑related incidents.
• Analyze scan results, validate findings, and drive remediation with technical teams.
• Manage ServiceNow tickets, including incidents, requests, and escalations.
• Maintain stakeholder communications and compliance attestations.
• Automate recurring tasks through scripting and tooling.

Required profile

• University or college degree in engineering, computer science, physics, mathematics, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in data security or related roles.
• Strong communication skills in English.

Required skills

• Linux and Windows operating systems.
• PowerShell and Bash scripting.
• ServiceNow ITSM ticket management.
• Database security for Oracle, MSSQL, DB2, PostgreSQL, MySQL.
• PCI DSS v4.0.1 compliance knowledge.
• DataStealth data discovery scanning.
• Fundamental understanding of application, database, and network security architecture.
