Data Support Analyst

About the role

We are seeking a Data Support Analyst to join our remote team and support a high‑stakes commercial advisory engagement for a Moroccan telecommunications client. You will work closely with senior advisors to gather, validate, and present data that underpins strategic partnership and investment decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Gather and categorize commercial data on competitors and potential partners within the telecommunications sector.
• Perform detailed data entry and validation to ensure accuracy and currency of advisory reports.
• Monitor regulatory filings and public announcements to track market‑relevant shifts.
• Prepare data summaries and basic visualizations that clarify complex investment scenarios.
• Maintain internal research databases, ensuring information is indexed and searchable.
• Conduct targeted research on specific assets or business units for scenario planning and risk assessment.
• Support the preparation of briefing materials for senior partners ahead of executive meetings.

Required profile

• Strong commercial curiosity and interest in the interaction between private capital and state entities.
• Logical thinking with the ability to synthesize information from multiple sources.
• Clear, concise writing skills for summarising complex points.
• Self‑discipline to manage schedule and tasks effectively in a fully remote setting.
• University degree or equivalent in economics, business, social sciences, or a related research‑intensive field.
• Objective, evidence‑based approach to analysis.
