EHS Manager (H/F)

About the role

The company seeks an experienced EHS Manager to lead the environmental, health and safety program at its Kenitra site. You will be responsible for ensuring compliance with Moroccan regulations and international standards while supporting the plant’s operational launch and ongoing production.

Key responsibilities

• Deploy, maintain and continuously improve the EHS management system in line with ISO 14001, ISO 45001 and ISO 50001.
• Guarantee strict adherence to the Moroccan Labor Code and environmental legislation, acting as the primary liaison with labor inspectors, fire services and environmental authorities.
• Assess and mitigate risks related to chemicals, machinery and work at heights, supervising safety for employees and subcontractors.
• Oversee hazardous waste disposal, monitor VOC and wastewater emissions, and contribute to ESG and carbon‑footprint targets.
• Lead incident and near‑miss investigations, implement corrective actions, and maintain fire protection and emergency response plans.
• Recruit, train and manage a local EHS team, audit suppliers and foster a proactive safety culture across the plant.

Required profile

• Minimum bachelor’s degree in Safety, Environmental, Occupational Health or Chemical Engineering (master’s preferred).
• At least 5 years of EHS management experience in an industrial setting, including 2 years in a leadership role.
• Proven mastery of ISO 14001, ISO 45001 and the Moroccan legal framework; NEBOSH or IOSH certification is a strong asset.
• Fluent in French or Arabic for local interactions and good English for corporate reporting.
