EH&S Manager

About the role

The EH&S Manager will lead the development, implementation and management of environmental, health and safety programs for Lear’s Tangier facility, ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations and corporate standards.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure execution of EHS policies, provide guidance on program feasibility, and implement corporate directives for Lear locations.
• Partner with operations and all departments to align their needs with EHS requirements, guidance and best practices.
• Conduct recurrent EHS reviews with key operating leaders, track performance metrics and drive continuous improvement plans.
• Manage scrap and waste processes, including reporting, action plans and result analysis.
• Establish compliance assurance processes and coordinate audits to meet legal, customer, investor and corporate requirements.
• Lead thorough incident investigations, publish EHS alerts and disseminate lessons across sites.
• Implement and sustain the EHS management system (ISO 14001 & ISO 45001).
• Maintain the OSHA 300 log, submit injured‑worker information to the third‑party administrator and coordinate claim status.
• Oversee ergonomic, sustainability and continuous‑improvement programs.

Required profile

• Proven ability to provide leadership and direction to ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental regulations.
• Strong capability to influence and collaborate with multiple departments and operational leaders.
• Experience conducting EHS audits and leading incident investigations.
