FEA/CFD Engineer – Simulation & Product Development

About the role

We are seeking a skilled FEA/CFD Engineer to join our product development team. The successful candidate will apply finite element and computational fluid dynamics methods to solve structural, thermal, and fluid‑flow challenges, supporting design optimization and validation.

Key responsibilities

• Perform FEA and CFD simulations for structural, thermal, fluid‑flow, and dynamic problems.
• Develop and prepare simulation models, including geometry cleanup, meshing, material definition, boundary conditions, and solver setup.
• Analyze results to identify stress, strain, deformation, temperature, pressure, flow, fatigue or performance issues.
• Correlate simulation outcomes with physical test data and support model validation.
• Conduct design optimization and trade‑off studies to improve product performance, durability, weight, efficiency, and reliability.
• Collaborate with Design, Product Engineering, Testing, and Manufacturing teams to resolve engineering issues.
• Prepare technical reports, simulation documentation, and engineering recommendations.
• Support design verification, validation, and root‑cause analysis activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, Automotive, Civil Engineering or a related field.
• 1–6 years of industry experience in FEA, CFD, CAE or engineering simulation.
• Strong understanding of engineering mechanics, fluid mechanics, heat transfer and material mechanics.
• Experience in an OEM, Tier‑1, aerospace or industrial engineering environment is preferred.

Required skills

• ANSYS Mechanical, Abaqus, LS‑DYNA, OptiStruct, NASTRAN, HyperMesh/HyperWorks.
• ANSYS Fluent, STAR‑CCM+, CONVERGE, OpenFOAM.
• MATLAB/Simulink, Python scripting.
• CAD tools such as CATIA, Siemens NX, Creo.
