Finance Controller

About the role

Hexcel is seeking an experienced Finance Controller to join its Casablanca site. You will ensure compliance with accounting policies, manage tax reporting, and provide analytical support to plant and project managers in a fast‑moving advanced composites environment.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain adherence to Hexcel accounting and ethical policies.
• Meet reporting deadlines and deliver detailed financial analysis with support from the Head of Finance.
• Assist in the implementation and configuration of Apriso and D365 ERP systems.
• Provide analytical information to project, production, and plant managers, identifying risks and challenges.
• Prepare ad‑hoc reports, statistics, and monthly tax entries using TaxStream.
• File corporate tax returns and ensure accurate statutory accounts are submitted on time.
• Plan and execute budgeting, quarterly estimates, and monthly reporting cycles.
• Liaise with local banks, insurers, regulatory bodies, and corporate headquarters.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in finance or accounting.
• Minimum 10 years of progressive finance experience, including local tax and regulatory compliance.
• In‑depth knowledge of Moroccan tax laws and statutory reporting requirements.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
• Fluent in English and French; eligible to work in Morocco.

Required skills

• Experience with ERP platforms such as Microsoft Dynamics AX or Navision.
• Advanced Excel proficiency.
• Power BI for data visualization.
• TaxStream for corporate tax processing.
