Financial Planning & Analysis Associate

About the role

The Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Associate will support JTI's finance function in Casablanca by delivering comprehensive financial planning and forecasting across a rolling three‑year horizon. This role provides critical insight for strategic decision‑making, performance management, and risk assessment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain financial plans and forecasts for sales, pricing, gross‑to‑net, operating expenses, P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow.
• Act as a trusted business partner to cross‑functional teams, delivering timely and value‑added financial analysis.
• Support business performance analysis, identify risks and opportunities, and challenge assumptions.
• Coordinate planning inputs and ensure alignment across functions.
• Consolidate and monitor marketing and commercial investment budgets.
• Provide financial visibility on business initiatives and market performance.
• Perform local and regional financial analysis, variance analysis, and present actionable insights.
• Assist in updating the annual operating plan and rolling forecasts throughout the year.

Required profile

• University degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (CIMA qualification or studying towards it is a plus).
• 3–5 years of experience in finance and financial reporting.
• Fluent in English and French.
• Detail‑oriented, diligent, and numbers‑focused.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Desire to learn and grow within a global organization.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience with accounting software; SAP knowledge is a plus.
