French Remote Consecutive Interpreter (On-Demand)

About the role

Reviver is seeking an experienced French consecutive interpreter to provide on‑demand interpretation services remotely. You will work as an independent contractor, delivering accurate language support over the phone and via video for a variety of client interactions.

Key responsibilities

• Provide consecutive interpretation during phone calls, video conferences, meetings, interviews and other remote sessions.
• Listen to the source language speaker, pause, and render the message accurately in the target language.
• Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, cultural sensitivity, and compliance with HIPAA and Reviver’s protocols.
• Adhere to interpreting standards set by IMIA, CCHI and NCIHC.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year of professional interpretation experience or at least 3,000 hours of active interpreting.
• Fluency in French and English (or another source language) with proven technical proficiency on the ILR scale or equivalent.
• Successful completion of Reviver’s mock‑call assessment.
• Updated résumé showing relevant interpreting work.
• Clear criminal background check (English version).

Required skills

• Technical setup capable of supporting remote interpretation (headset, stable internet connection, laptop).
