Functional Architect – Automotive Systems

About the role

ALTEN Maroc is seeking a Functional Architect to lead the definition and maintenance of functional requirements for Cockpit, Body, Infotainment and Connected Services systems in automotive projects. You will work closely with cross‑functional teams to ensure system consistency across vehicle configurations.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze and maintain functional requirements for vehicle subsystems.
• Design and update functional architecture models using CATIA V6.
• Create, review and manage system requirements and traceability in ENOVIA.
• Assess change requests and functional impacts on E/E architecture.
• Investigate root‑cause of technical issues and propose corrective actions.
• Generate Technical Function Design (TFD) and Sub System Design (SSD) deliverables.
• Lead technical review meetings and produce architecture documentation.
• Define and manage calibration parameters according to project needs.

Required profile

• Master’s degree (BAC+5) in Electronics, Electrical Engineering or Embedded Systems.
• 5‑8 years of experience in automotive E/E architecture, especially in Cockpit, Body, Infotainment and Connected Services.
• Strong knowledge of requirements engineering, functional architecture design and system integration.
• Familiarity with V‑cycle development processes.
