Head Butler

About the role

The Head Butler leads daily shift operations for Housekeeping, Recreation/Health Club and, when applicable, Laundry at St. Regis Tamuda Bay. The role ensures guest rooms, public areas and employee spaces are clean, well‑maintained, and inspected to the brand’s standards while supporting guest and employee satisfaction within budgetary goals.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily housekeeping shift activities, verify compliance with policies, and conduct daily guest‑room inspections.
• Coordinate room status communication with the Front Desk, assign work orders, and manage inventory of supplies and equipment.
• Develop and maintain an effective inspection program for guestrooms and public spaces, driving corrective actions as needed.
• Train new room attendants, schedule staff according to business demand, and oversee time‑and‑attendance tracking.
• Handle guest complaints, implement corrective action plans, and promote a culture of exceptional customer service.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED with at least 2 years of housekeeping or related experience, OR
• A 2‑year degree in Hotel & Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or a related field (no experience required).
