About the role
The HR Specialist – Payroll Assistant will support the HR Manager in managing time and attendance data, ensuring accurate payroll processing and compliance with Moroccan labor regulations. This position focuses on collecting, validating, and correcting time records while coordinating with team leaders and managers.
Key responsibilities
- Gather attendance sheets, badge records, timesheets, and manual declarations.
- Record regular hours, overtime, breaks, on‑call duty, and travel time.
- Identify and correct anomalies such as late arrivals, unexcused absences, duplicate entries, and scheduling errors.
- Validate and lock time records for payroll processing.
- Monitor and process overtime in line with company policies.
- Manage leave, sick days, workplace accidents, permissions, and lateness tracking.
- Maintain contractual and working‑time data in the AGIRH system.
- Verify supporting documents such as medical certificates and leave requests.
- Prepare monthly payroll reports and compile HR data for payroll.
- Coordinate with team leaders to resolve anomalies and obtain validations.
- Configure working schedules, shift cycles, employee profiles, and calculation rules in AGIRH.
- Ensure compliance with labor regulations regarding working time, rest periods, overtime, and safety.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Management or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar HR or payroll role.
- Proficiency with HR tools, specifically AGIRH and Excel.
- Strong data‑analysis abilities to detect discrepancies and verify inconsistencies.
- Good understanding of HR rules, overtime regulations, and payroll legislation.
