About the role

ALTEN Morocco is seeking a Test Automation Developer specialized in Hardware‑in‑the‑Loop (HIL) testing for the automotive sector. You will work on embedded systems, creating and maintaining automated test solutions that ensure software and hardware quality.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop automated test cases for embedded systems using Python within a dedicated test automation framework.
• Integrate test cases into the test environment to validate software, hardware, and system performance.
• Enhance and maintain the test automation framework for efficiency and maintainability.
• Implement custom tools, libraries, and scripts to improve automation workflows and reporting.
• Execute automated test scripts on embedded platforms to verify functionality, performance, and compliance.
• Analyze test results, identify issues, and log defects in the tracking system.
• Generate detailed test reports covering test coverage, defects, and reliability metrics.
• Ensure all tests comply with automotive standards such as ISO 26262, ASPICE, or OEM‑specific guidelines.

Required profile

• Master’s degree (BAC+5) in embedded systems or a related engineering field.
• Proven experience in test automation using Python.
• Knowledge of automotive functionalities and communication protocols (CAN, LIN, UDS).
• Familiarity with Matlab/Simulink.
• Hands‑on experience with test tools such as CANoe or CANalyzer.
• Proficiency with defect tracking tools (e.g., Jira).
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Good English communication skills.
