IT Auditor

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Junior IT Auditor to support the planning and execution of internal and external audit assignments and consultancy projects. You will work closely with operations, risk, compliance and legal teams to assess processes and ensure IT security controls are effective.

Key responsibilities

• Support the planning and execution of IT audit assignments and consultancy projects.
• Assess operational processes through discussions with client business units and review of procedures.
• Obtain, review, and interpret client evidence to validate the design and operation of IT security controls.
• Prepare management reports with assessment results and improvement recommendations.
• Provide risk‑based assurance, advice, and insights on risk management, internal control and governance.
• Assist clients in complying with regulations such as DORA, PSD2, NIS2, FSMA, MiFID, NBB and ECB.
• Evaluate internal risk controls for completeness and effectiveness.
• Contribute to business‑process evaluation and organizational maturity improvements.
• Collaborate on international projects with Forvis Mazars.

Required profile

• Master's degree in IT, Computer Science, Information Systems, Cyber Security, Economics (with IT interest) or related field.
• Excellent proficiency in English and Dutch or French.
• Strong attention to detail, analytical mindset and problem‑solving abilities.
• Self‑learning attitude to stay current with IT developments.
• Ability to self‑organise, manage planning and priorities with guidance.
• Comfortable participating in client‑facing meetings.
