IT Technical Sales Consultant – Network & Telecom

About the role

The IT Technical Sales Consultant works closely with TELUS sales teams and internal delivery groups to design and sell technology solutions across Canada. You will apply deep knowledge of connectivity, unified communications, SD‑WAN and cyber‑security to meet customer business needs.

Key responsibilities

• Leverage expertise in one solution area (e.g., Business Internet, MS Teams, SD‑WAN, Managed Detection Response) to develop proposals and respond to Moves, Adds, and Changes (MACs).
• Collaborate with sales professionals, operations, and delivery teams throughout the solution development lifecycle.
• Manage end‑to‑end solution development for a specific product set and handle day‑to‑day customer requests.

Required profile

• Strong independent work ethic, ability to manage ambiguity and adapt to evolving customer needs.
• Excellent English business communication (verbal and written) and a customer‑first mindset.
• Technical proficiency in at least one of the listed solution areas.
• Post‑secondary degree in engineering, computer science, or a related technical field; industry certifications (e.g., Cisco) are a plus.
