Junior CSS Developer (Remote)

About the role

JHC Consulting is looking for a Junior CSS Developer to enhance the digital presentation of its advisory memoranda. This full‑time, permanent position is fully remote and focuses on creating clear, legible, and typographically precise documents for senior executives and board members.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and evolve the CSS architecture of internal document delivery platforms.
• Ensure typography, spacing, and layout provide an optimal reading experience across devices.
• Translate complex data visualisations into clean, CSS‑based components.
• Audit digital outputs for consistency with the firm’s visual standards.
• Debug layout issues and guarantee cross‑browser compatibility for the secure advisory portal.
• Document style changes and code updates with precision.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of modern CSS and HTML fundamentals.
• Interest in typography and attention to detail for long‑form text.
• Ability to work independently, manage schedule, and communicate technical choices in plain English.
• Degree or background in computer science, design, or a humanities discipline that emphasizes structured thinking.
