Key Account Manager

About the role

Abbott’s Rapid Diagnostics division is seeking a Key Account Manager based in Morocco to drive commercial success and expand the company’s presence across strategic accounts. You will work closely with local distributors and on‑ground stakeholders to accelerate sales growth, strengthen partnerships, and ensure effective market execution.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute commercial strategies to meet sales and gross‑margin targets for assigned accounts.
• Define volume objectives, negotiate agreements, and increase visibility of Abbott brands.
• Create tactical action plans to boost sales and manage a structured pipeline of opportunities.
• Identify and support tenders and large opportunities, guiding customers to successful outcomes.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and pricing, implementing corrective actions as needed.
• Ensure smooth sales processes, delivery coordination, and collaboration with after‑sales service teams.
• Drive distributor performance, field support, and product‑knowledge development.
• Coordinate ordering and supply cycles to support distributor field activities.

Required profile

• Proven sales or key‑account experience in a multinational environment, preferably within IVD or laboratory diagnostics.
• Strong commercial and key‑account management background, including work with distributors.
• Fluency in English, French and Arabic (essential).
• Excellent analytical, negotiation and relationship‑building abilities.
• Ability to work independently in a dynamic, cross‑functional setting.
