L1 Technical Support (German) – Remote

About the role

SG Tech is seeking a German‑speaking L1 Technical Support Technician to join its remote team. You will be responsible for the first‑line support of Android tablets and smart‑glass devices used in retail‑sector demonstration kits during project launches.

Key responsibilities

• Perform initial diagnostics, verify physical connections, and execute controlled device restarts.
• Conduct functional checks of demo equipment, including audio, photo/video capture, touch controls, and Wi‑Fi/SIM connectivity.
• Document each incident with detailed steps and results, ensuring traceability.
• Escalate unresolved issues to L2 support and coordinate component replacements with internal teams or clients.
• Communicate with end‑users in German and collaborate with the internal team in English.

Required profile

• German language proficiency at C1 level.
• French and English at B2 or higher.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in technical support.
• Immediate availability for remote work.
