About the role

Greif is seeking a reliable Machine Operator to run routine production machinery and help meet daily production targets. The role involves ensuring parts are produced to exact specifications while maintaining a safe and orderly work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Operate routine production machinery according to prints and specifications.
• Produce required quantities of parts within established tolerances.
• Measure finished parts with precision tools to verify functional, quality, and cosmetic standards.
• Maintain production logs and report any errors or rejected pieces.
• Inspect equipment before use, perform basic adjustments, and conduct routine maintenance.
• Keep the work area clean, safe, and organized.
• Follow all safety regulations and perform additional duties as assigned.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Up to 2 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Willingness to follow directions and work effectively in a team.
• Ability to interpret job specifications for production machinery.
• Basic understanding of production equipment or ability to learn quickly.
