Maintenance Engineer

About the role

Hexcel is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to join its Casablanca plant. You will be responsible for keeping critical equipment running safely and efficiently, supporting the company’s mission to deliver advanced composite solutions for aerospace and other high‑performance applications.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure all machinery meets health, safety and environmental standards.
• Develop, implement and monitor preventive maintenance schedules.
• Perform routine inspections, servicing and troubleshooting of equipment.
• Collaborate with production teams to optimise equipment performance.
• Recommend upgrades or modifications to improve efficiency.
• Support lean manufacturing and continuous‑improvement initiatives.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation.
• Train staff on safe equipment use and emergency procedures.
• Coordinate with external contractors and suppliers for specialised repairs.
• Manage plant maintenance KPI dashboard and ensure audit compliance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Industrial Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 2‑5 years of experience in manufacturing or industrial maintenance.
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles.

Required skills

• Experience with PLCs, robotics or advanced automation systems.
• Proficiency in diagnostic tools and maintenance software (CMMS).
