About the role
At TE, the Maintenance Mechanic III performs basic routine and preventive maintenance activities on facilities and manufacturing machinery within assigned areas. The role involves recording malfunctions, repairing equipment, and ensuring compliance with safety and maintenance policies.
Key responsibilities
- Record maintenance or repair work malfunctions and ensure compliance with organizational safety and maintenance policies.
- Repair, reassemble, and install various equipment, machinery, plumbing, and carpentry using manpower and powered tools.
- Inspect, operate, and test machinery or equipment to determine malfunctions and decide on appropriate corrective solutions.
- Complete all work orders, preventive maintenance sheets, repair logs, and related documentation to reflect work performed.
Required profile
- Minimum of 5 years related work experience.
- High school completion; vocational training or an AA degree preferred.
