Manager / Senior Manager – West & North Africa

About the role

IDinsight is seeking a dynamic Manager or Senior Manager to lead client engagements across West and North Africa. Based in Dakar, Senegal or Rabat, Morocco, you will work with senior leaders in governments, foundations, NGOs and socially‑impactful businesses to maximize social impact through rigorous evidence.

Key responsibilities

• Establish trusted advisor relationships with clients and provide high‑quality, evidence‑based counsel.
• Lead all phases of advisory and evaluation projects, including design, data analysis, and delivery of policy briefs, technical reports and presentations.
• Oversee project administration, staffing requests, timesheets, leave management and change management processes.
• Mentor Associates and junior staff, fostering a collaborative, high‑performance team environment.
• Design and manage project budgets, ensure funder compliance and identify financial risks early.
• Collaborate with technical teams to maintain methodological rigor and support cross‑functional initiatives.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing complex client engagements in development or social impact sectors.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate data and evidence into actionable insights.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Demonstrated leadership in mentoring junior professionals.
