Manufacturing Engineer

About the role

Hexcel is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer for its Casablanca site to support safe, efficient and high‑quality production of advanced lightweight composite materials. The role combines day‑to‑day engineering support with continuous‑improvement initiatives across a global aerospace supply chain.

Key responsibilities

• Provide day‑to‑day engineering support to production operations, ensuring safety, efficiency and on‑time performance.
• Act as an EHS role model, promoting proactive safety culture and ensuring compliance with health, safety and environmental requirements.
• Develop, implement and optimise manufacturing processes, work instructions, tooling and production methods to boost productivity and product quality.
• Lead troubleshooting activities, perform root‑cause analysis and drive corrective and preventive actions.
• Manage introduction of new products and programs, coordinating with global engineering and cross‑functional teams.
• Review engineering drawings, specifications and design changes for manufacturability and compliance.
• Maintain accurate ERP data, including Bills of Materials, routings, process plans and documentation.
• Support cost‑reduction initiatives through process optimisation, waste elimination and Lean/Six Sigma methodologies.
• Lead and participate in cross‑functional projects focused on operational excellence and customer satisfaction.
• Provide technical support during customer visits, audits and qualification activities.

Required profile

• Engineering degree in Manufacturing, Industrial, Mechanical, Materials, Aerospace or related discipline.
• 3–5 years of experience in manufacturing, aerospace, automotive or similar engineering environments.
• Fluent in English and French.
• Eligibility to work in Morocco.
