Manufacturing Engineering Technician

About the role

Hexcel is seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Technician to support its advanced lightweight composite production in Casablanca. You will work closely with production teams to troubleshoot issues, improve processes, and ensure high‑quality manufacturing of carbon‑fiber and honeycomb structures.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical support by diagnosing and resolving manufacturing and process‑related problems.
• Monitor process performance, identify efficiency and quality improvement opportunities, and support implementation of changes.
• Maintain and update manufacturing documentation such as work instructions, process flow diagrams, routes, and bills of materials.
• Assist with new product introductions, process transfers, equipment qualification, and process validation studies.
• Participate in Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, and 5S initiatives to drive continuous improvement.
• Conduct cycle‑time analyses and support waste‑reduction and cost‑optimization projects.
• Collaborate with Production, Quality, Maintenance, Supply Chain, EHS, and Program Management to meet SQDC objectives.

Required profile

• Technician diploma or bachelor’s degree in industrial, mechanical engineering or a related field.
• 1‑3 years of experience in aerospace, composites, or a manufacturing environment.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and organizational abilities.
• Fluent in English and French, both written and spoken.
• Eligibility to work in Morocco.
