Material Planner Engineer

About the role

Hexcel, a global leader in advanced lightweight composite materials, is looking for a Material Planner Engineer to join its Casablanca site. The role supports the manufacturing supply chain by ensuring the right materials are available at the right time to meet production schedules.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, analyse and confirm customer sales orders.
• Purchase goods, materials and services while meeting cost, quality and delivery targets.
• Manage raw‑material orders to maintain optimal inventory levels.
• Monitor inventory, prepare yearly plans and track aged stock.
• Prepare purchase orders and order schedules.
• Research new components and suppliers, evaluate performance and ensure contract compliance.
• Develop weekly, monthly and yearly production schedules within supply‑chain constraints.
• Maintain accurate MRP data and parameters.
• Coordinate with SCM on new project introductions and assign material planners to projects.

Required profile

• Engineering degree in Supply Chain, Industry or a related field.
• At least 4 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong computer skills, especially MS Office.
• Experience with ERP systems; Microsoft AX is a plus.
• Critical thinking, negotiation and strong written and verbal communication skills.
