Material Planner – Logistics Department

About the role

The Logistics Department is seeking a Material Planner to ensure that supply chain plans align with demand forecasts and customer requirements. The role involves weekly analysis of inventory levels, updating production schedules, and supporting the implementation of the Hirschmann Automotive management system.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain supply‑chain plans to meet forecasted demand and customer needs.
• Conduct weekly analysis of finished‑goods and raw‑material inventories.
• Update and communicate the weekly production schedule.
• Monitor, report, and act on key performance indicators related to the supply chain.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve supply‑chain issues.
• Contribute to the implementation, maintenance, and development of the Hirschmann Automotive management system.

Required profile

• Master’s degree (Bac+5) in Logistics, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and organizational abilities.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Effective communication skills and ability to work well in a team.
• Quick learner who can adapt to new tools and processes.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Experience with the Hirschmann Automotive management system.
