Materials Planning Analyst I

About the role

The Materials Planning Analyst I supports smooth customer delivery and optimized production flow by coordinating demand, planning production, and managing logistics activities. Positioned within the logistics and supply chain team, this role directly influences customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze customer demand and update daily coverage reports for accurate planning visibility.
• Coordinate shipments, prepare shipping lists, and track deliveries to ensure on‑time performance.
• Maintain accurate order and delivery data in the system, ensuring data integrity.
• Ensure Just‑In‑Time (JIT) deliveries and maintain defined stock levels at advanced warehouses.
• Plan and monitor daily production schedules to balance manufacturing capacity and demand.
• Collaborate with production teams to align workforce, equipment capacity, and output targets.
• Monitor production, delivery, and quality issues and implement corrective actions when needed.
• Drive continuous improvement in planning, reporting processes, and cross‑functional coordination.

Required profile

• Engineering degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• At least 1 year of experience in production planning, demand planning, or supply chain operations.
• Strong knowledge of production planning concepts, inventory management, and JIT principles.
• Experience working with ERP systems and advanced Excel for reporting and analysis.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills to manage customer and internal stakeholders effectively.
