Mathematics Teacher – Lower Secondary to A Level

About the role

The school is seeking a qualified Mathematics Teacher to deliver high‑quality instruction across Lower Secondary, IGCSE and A Level programmes. The role involves adapting lessons to both the Cambridge International framework and the Moroccan National Curriculum while fostering a strong academic culture.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging mathematics lessons for Lower Secondary, IGCSE and A Level students.
• Adapt teaching methods to meet the requirements of the Cambridge International Curriculum and the Moroccan National Curriculum.
• Organise and lead mathematics clubs, enrichment activities or academic competitions.
• Promote a vibrant academic culture across both the Moroccan and International sections of the school.
• Monitor student progress through regular formative and summative assessments.
• Provide detailed feedback to parents and students during consultations and through formal reports.

Required profile

• Fluency in English; proficiency in French or Arabic is highly beneficial.
• Bachelor's degree in Mathematics or a closely related field.
• PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification is highly desirable.
• Proven experience teaching mathematics in a secondary school setting, covering Lower Secondary, IGCSE and A Level cohorts.
• Familiarity with the Cambridge International framework; understanding of the Moroccan National system is an advantage.
