MEP Engineer

About the role

We are seeking an MEP Engineer to oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems for a terminal building and its associated infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Review and supervise installation, testing, and commissioning of all MEP systems associated with the terminal building and allied infrastructure.
• Review contractor submissions, design documents, shop drawings, method statements, and technical specifications related to MEP works.
• Monitor HVAC systems, electrical distribution systems, DG sets, substations, firefighting systems, plumbing systems, drainage systems, BMS, ELV systems, and vertical transportation systems.
• Ensure compliance with approved designs, technical specifications, safety standards, statutory requirements, and contract provisions.
• Coordinate MEP activities with architectural, structural, façade, airport systems, and civil works teams to avoid conflicts and delays.
• Monitor construction quality, workmanship, testing procedures, and commissioning activities.
• Review integrated testing and commissioning plans and witness performance testing of MEP systems.
• Assist in identifying design issues, technical challenges, and recommend corrective measures.
• Ensure adherence to energy efficiency, sustainability, and operational performance requirements.
• Participate in project progress meetings and provide technical recommendations to the Project Manager.
• Prepare inspection reports, progress reports, punch lists, and commissioning documentation.
• Support project handover, operation manuals review, and training of client personnel.
