Merchandiser / Buyer Account Manager

About the role

You will act as the daily bridge between North American clients and Moroccan production partners, turning client inquiries into detailed sourcing briefs, guiding them through production and ensuring timely delivery. This position is essential for moving deals from initial request to shipment.

Key responsibilities

• Own and protect client accounts throughout the entire order lifecycle.
• Translate client needs into actionable briefs for production teams.
• Secure appropriate offers, negotiate terms, and closely monitor production progress.
• Maintain and nurture the commercial relationship on a day‑to‑day basis.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year of experience in merchandising, sourcing, export sales, account management or a client‑facing role within textile, fashion or industrial B2B.
• Fluent written and spoken English (mandatory for a 100% North American client base).
• Strong, clear and professional communication skills.
• Commercial mindset with the ability to treat quotes as active deals.
• Highly organized and proactive, anticipating follow‑ups before they are requested.

Required skills

• Knowledge of Incoterms (FOB, DDP).
• Familiarity with HS codes and export documentation.
• Understanding of compliance and sustainability standards such as GOTS, OEKO‑TEX and RSE.
