Network Exposure Analyst Intern

About the role

This internship focuses on exploring and using Network Exposure APIs, including those defined by the CAMARA initiative, to build proof‑of‑concept applications. You will learn how to securely and efficiently leverage network capabilities such as location, quality of service, and device status to create innovative mobile‑app features.

Key responsibilities

• Develop a solid understanding of Network Exposure concepts and CAMARA APIs.
• Learn to interact with and consume RESTful APIs in a professional manner.
• Build prototype applications using languages such as Python, Java, or JavaScript.
• Contribute to design, development, testing, and documentation of the prototypes.
• Collaborate with experienced engineers in a supportive team environment.
• Explore security and privacy considerations related to Network Exposure services.
• Potentially present findings and results to stakeholders.

Required profile

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, Information Technology or a related field.
• Curious, eager to learn and interested in the intersection of mobile applications and advanced network capabilities.
• Strong foundational knowledge of computer‑science principles and good problem‑solving abilities.
• Proactive, self‑driven and able to work independently as well as in a team.

Required skills

• Familiarity with at least one programming language (Python, Java, JavaScript, C++).
• Basic understanding of web technologies (HTTP, REST APIs).
• Experience with API testing tools (Postman, Insomnia).
• Knowledge of version control systems (Git).
• Familiarity with containerisation (Docker).
• Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Understanding of security concepts in application development.
