Operations Manager

About the role

The Operations Manager will lead the plant’s operational areas, ensuring manufacturing processes deliver high‑quality products efficiently and cost‑effectively. As a key member of the plant management team, you will drive performance against agreed KPIs and support regional and global strategies.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and develop direct reports (Business Line management members) and contribute to overall plant performance.
• Oversee SRS, Molding and HV Production activities, ensuring compliance with internal procedures, legal regulations and statutory obligations.
• Allocate resources across Production, Mechanical Engineering, Program Management and Maintenance to balance short‑ and long‑term goals.
• Define and implement the site’s Lean strategy, ensuring daily use of Lean tools and standards.
• Represent the plant with customers, suppliers and partners, upholding company values.
• Monitor monthly KPIs (quality, OTD, safety, cost) and initiate corrective actions to meet Aptiv SPQVC targets.
• Authorize shipment or production stops in case of serious quality issues, informing leadership immediately.
• Apply environmental, health and safety policies within the area of responsibility.
• Prepare the annual budget for the Business Line and achieve budgeted turnover and operating income.

Required profile

• Proven experience in plant or manufacturing management.
• Strong knowledge of internal procedures, legal regulations and statutory obligations.
• Ability to lead cross‑functional teams and allocate resources effectively.
• Experience defining and executing Lean strategies.
• Excellent decision‑making skills, especially under quality‑critical situations.
• Solid understanding of budgeting and financial performance management.
