OT Process Controller

About the role

APM Terminals is seeking an OT Process Controller to join the Integrated Operations Center (IOC) at its TM2 terminal. Working in a shift‑based rotation, you will be the first line of support for semi‑automated container handling systems, ensuring high availability and smooth operation of quay cranes, rail‑mounted gantry cranes and shuttle carriers.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor alarms, interfaces and process flows for terminal equipment in real time during shift hours.
• Perform Level 1 troubleshooting, escalating to Level 2/3 when necessary.
• Detect and resolve control system anomalies and software faults.
• Coordinate incident handling with Operations, Asset Management and IT teams.
• Document incidents, interventions and shift handovers thoroughly.
• Maintain SLA compliance and ensure clear communication within the Control Room.
• Support Lean initiatives through accurate reporting and process documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business or a related field.
• Strong analytical mindset with a continuous‑improvement (Lean) orientation.
• Hands‑on troubleshooting experience in a technical environment.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
