Plant Manager

About the role

The Plant Manager leads all manufacturing operations at the facility, ensuring that production, quality, safety, financial and customer objectives are met. Reporting to senior leadership, the role combines strategic planning with day‑to‑day operational oversight to drive continuous improvement and support the company’s growth strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage safe, efficient, and cost‑effective plant operations.
• Develop and execute the annual operating plan aligned with business objectives and customer demand.
• Achieve production targets while maintaining high quality, productivity, and customer satisfaction.
• Optimize resources, equipment, and workforce to maximize performance.
• Drive Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement initiatives to reduce waste and improve processes.
• Monitor operational KPIs and implement corrective actions.
• Manage plant budget, control manufacturing costs, and ensure profitability.
• Lead capital investment projects that enhance efficiency and support growth.
• Oversee production planning, inventory management, and material availability.
• Collaborate with Supply Chain, Procurement, Logistics, and Customer Service teams.
• Lead, coach, and develop multidisciplinary teams, fostering a high‑performance culture.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, ISO, and regulatory standards.
• Maintain effective relationships with engineering, finance, HR, quality, sales, customers, suppliers, auditors, and regulators.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Management, Manufacturing, Operations, or a related field.
• Proven experience leading manufacturing operations in a plant environment.
• Strong understanding of financial management, budgeting, and cost control.
• Demonstrated ability to drive continuous improvement and manage capital projects.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
