Premium Showroom Store Manager – Accra, Ghana

About the role

Twyford, a global building‑materials manufacturer, is looking for an experienced Store Manager to lead its flagship premium showroom in Accra, Ghana. You will be responsible for delivering an international‑standard customer experience while driving sales growth in a fast‑expanding market.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily showroom operations, ensuring premium service and brand consistency.
• Design and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue, profit and customer‑satisfaction targets.
• Recruit, train, coach and motivate a high‑performing sales and support team.
• Maintain visual merchandising standards, product displays and overall showroom hygiene.
• Build and nurture long‑term relationships with architects, contractors, developers and institutional clients.
• Analyse sales data and market trends to guide inventory planning and commercial decisions.
• Manage after‑sales processes, including custom orders, delivery coordination and customer feedback.
• Ensure strict compliance with company policies, operational procedures and health‑and‑safety regulations.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of formal retail management experience in large‑scale building‑materials or home‑improvement chains.
• Proven track record in sales team leadership, training and performance management.
• Strong knowledge of retail KPIs, sales forecasting, inventory control and profit‑margin management.
• Customer‑oriented mindset with ability to develop stable, long‑term client partnerships.
• Adaptability to overseas assignments; prior African experience or relocation is a plus.
