Principal Python Engineer

About the role

At Mindera we believe software is built by people, for people. We are seeking a Principal Python Engineer to join an agile, collaborative team where your voice matters as much as your code. You will partner with leadership and clients to design resilient, high‑performance systems.

Key responsibilities

• Design and build software services and APIs using Python frameworks such as FastAPI.
• Architect, implement, and maintain secure Azure cloud infrastructure, including networking, WAF, and CDN.
• Manage infrastructure as code with Terraform and deploy scalable services on Kubernetes (AKS) and Docker.
• Develop end‑to‑end data pipelines, ensuring reliable real‑time (Kafka/Kinesis) and batch processing.

Required profile

• Deep expertise in software design and architecture, able to bridge data and engineering challenges.
• Proven leadership in setting technical direction, communicating complex designs to diverse stakeholders.
• Strong commitment to quality, testing, security, observability, and operational resilience.

Required skills

• Python (10+ years) and FastAPI.
• Azure cloud services, networking, WAF, CDN.
• Terraform, Kubernetes (AKS), Docker.
• Kafka, Kinesis for data streaming.
• AI/ML application development, especially recommendation or conversational systems.
